Go To Internal Bar Number

This plug-in acts exactly the same as the Sibelius ‘Go To Bar’ built-in function, except that it goes to a bar based on its internal bar number rather than its external bar number. It is useful for navigating through a score that has one or more bar number changes.

An example of such an instance would be when a user has a run another plug-in that outputs internal bar numbers. Another instance would be if the user knew the number of a bar before they inserted a bar number change.

Internal bar numbers never change, except when measures are added or deleted. If the user enters an incorrect internal bar number, the plug-in will display the range of internal bar numbers so the user knows why their entered number was not valid. This plug-in is particularly well-suited to have a shortcut assigned to it.
